§ 5.08.030. Retail license.

  • Retail licenses issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be of two types, as follows:

    A.

    Tavern licenses. Tavern licenses shall entitle the licensee to sell beer on the premises described as taverns, which include beer bars, parlors, lounges, cabarets and night clubs where the revenue from the sale of beer exceeds the revenue of the sale of food, although food need not be sold in such establishments.

    B.

    Retail beer licenses. Retail beer licenses shall apply to all other sales of beer whether on premises or off.
