  • A conditional use permit application shall be made to the planning commission as provided in this title. The building inspector may submit the application to the planning commission, except that the planning commission may authorize the building inspector to grant or deny a conditional use permit, subject to such limitations or qualifications as are deemed necessary. Applications for a conditional use permit shall be accompanied by maps, plot plans, elevations, drawings, statements and other documents as required by the planning commission as set forth in Chapter 17.60.

    Awareness of neighbors. All applications for a conditional use permit in residential zones, shall include a statement signed by all neighbors within 300 feet of the exterior boundaries of the property which is the subject of the application, indicating that each neighbor is aware of the application. The statement need not indicate the neighbor's consent to the application, but only that the neighbor is aware that the applicant is filing an application for a conditional use permit on the subject property.
