§ 10.16.040. Penalties.
Latest version.
Any person violating, causing or permitting violation of any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Notwithstanding other language or provisions in the Utah Traffic Code - Rules of the Road, 1974 - adopted, any violator of this chapter, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $299.00, or by a jail sentence not to exceed six months, or by both a fine and jail sentence.
